DUSHANBE, 29.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 28, the deputies of the lower house of the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan discussed and adopted draft laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On civil defense”, “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On rescue services, rescue formations and the status of rescuers”.

According to the NIAT “Khovar” correspondent, this issue was discussed and adopted at the regular meeting of the fifth session of the Parliament (fifth convocation), which was held under the guidance of the Chairman of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov.

People’s deputies also supported the draft laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On combating human trafficking and assisting victims of human trafficking”, “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan” and “On quarantine and plant protection”.

The agenda issues were discussed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustam Shohiyon, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ikrom Umarzoda, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jamila Saidova, Chairman of the Food Security Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Farhod Kamolzoda, MPs Zainuddin Safarov, Bakhtovar Safarzoda and Mirzoanvar Ahmedov. Relevant decisions were taken on all discussed issues following the session.
