Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan Will Hold Cultural Events This Year
DUSHANBE, 31.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Culture of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda met with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan Janish Rustenbekov yesterday in Dushanbe.
The parties exchanged their views on the development of cultural relations between the two countries. They also discussed the expansion of cooperation in the field of theatrical arts, music and dance, and the organization of joint cultural events in the border areas, reported the Tajik Ministry of Culture.
“Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are two neighboring and friendly countries that have all the possibilities to expand cultural cooperation,” said Orumbekzoda during the meeting.
Rustenbekov proposed to organize joint cultural events with the participation of artists and cultural figures of Sughd province of Tajikistan and Batken province of Kyrgyzstan during this year.
