Dilshod Nazarov Will Compete for The Title of The Best in The IAAF Hammer Throw Challenge Series
DUSHANBE, 11.02.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has published a new schedule for the prestigious IAAF Hammer Throw Challenge series. The well-known Tajik hammer-thrower Dilshod Nazarov takes part in it every year.
Seven competitions will take place within the series this year. The first will take place on April 28 in Brazil, where the Grande Premio Brasil de Atletismo tournament will take place. The Seiko Golden Grand Prix Osaka-2019 in Japan will be held on May 19, Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland on June 11 and the prestigious series will be held later in Croatia and Hungary.
The final and most important tournament will be held from September 27 to October 6 in Doha, Qatar.
Dilshod Nazarov has already begun preparation for the 2019 season and will strive for the highest results.
“This year is important, as the selection for the Olympiad is ahead. I started preparing for the season in spring, God willing, I will be able to take part in the competition. The starting competitions will be tournaments within the IAAF Hammer Throw Challenge series,” said Dilshod Nazarov, as reposted by Sputnik.
Dilshod Nazarov took fourth place in the prestigious IAAF Hammer Throw Challenge series last year.
Following the result of the IAAF Hammer Throw Challenge series, Nazarov takes second or third place in the ranking of the world best hammer-throwers for several years. The ranking is based on the sum of the results of the hammer-throwers in the held starts.
