Football Federation of Tajikistan Announces Which Teams Will Play in the Super Cup 2019
DUSHANBE, 19.02.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The current champion of Tajikistan Istiqlol FC and the silver medalist Khujand FC will play in the Super Cup 2019 on March 29. The match will take place at the Central Republican Stadium in Dushanbe, reports the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
The decision to have these teams face off was made by the Bureau of the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
The first Super Cup was held in 2010. The cup’s seven-time champion Istiqlol FC, was victorious every year except in 2013 and 2017, when Kulob’s Ravshan FC and Farkhor’s Hosilot FC won respectively.
