Polish Embassy to Hold the Days of Polish Culture in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 20.02.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Culture of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda met with the Polish delegation led by the Ambassador of Poland to Tajikistan Peter Ivashkevich yesterday in Dushanbe.
Orumbekzoda informed the Polish officials about the ministry’s main activity as well as about the desire to strengthen the cultural relations between the two countries.
“The Polish movie festival in Tajikistan has become a tradition,” noted Ivashkevich.
Ivashkevich also suggested organizing the Days of Polish Culture in Tajikistan this year, with the participation of famous Polish artists presenting national and traditional Polish songs, dances, as well as showcasing the best examples of Polish cinema and an exhibition of fine arts.
The parties also discussed the issues relating strengthening relations between the two states at the level of theaters, institutions of art and culture.
