President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev
DUSHANBE, 26.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing.
The leaders discussed the current state of friendly relations between the two countries and topical issues concerning bilateral cooperation relating to transportation, transit, agriculture and fuel, as well as finding new ways to strengthen relations in other mutually beneficial areas.
During the meeting, the counterparts paid special attention to the process of implementation of the previously reached agreements and the Tajikistani — Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
