DUSHANBE, 01.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – A two-day seminar of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) on the implementation of the Competition Management System was completed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dushanbe, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan (FFT).

The seminar was conducted by the representative of Genius Sports Danilo Razon from Singapore. Representatives of the FFT, the Football League, the judicial department, the commissioners of matches who will work at the highest league and the country’s cup, delegates of regional federations and clubs of the highest league attended the seminar.

“The main goal of our seminar is to teach the specialists from Tajikistan how to introduce a competition management system, which involves a complete modernization and transition from paper work to electronic space,” said Razon.

The Vice President of the FFT Alisher Urunov and the General Director of the Football League of Tajikistan thanked Razon for conducting the seminar and expressed hope that a modern competition management system will be successfully implemented in Tajikistan in the near future.

The AFC had entered into an agreement with Genius Sports, a world leader in sports data transfer technology, which has developed a new competition management system for leagues and tournaments of Asian national federations. The competition management system is fully integrated with FIFA Connect Program and will be used to help the Asian national federations manage both professional and amateur leagues and tournaments.
