Russian-Tajik Youth Forum Kicked Off in Moscow Today
DUSHANBE, 16.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Tajik-Russian youth forum A Common Path to the Economy of the Future kicked off today in Moscow with the participation of a wide range of young people of the two countries. The forum will continue through tomorrow. The forum is being held within the official visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Russian Federation.
The Chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the government of Tajikistan Ahtam Abdullozoda and the Director of the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Alexander Bagaev addressed the participants of the forum.
“Friendly relations of the governments of Tajikistan and Russia have created favorable conditions for expanding cooperation between the two states. Today, cooperation between the two fraternal countries in the direction of the state youth policy is at the proper level,” said Abdullozoda, opening the forum.
“The state youth policy is the focus of the policy of the government of Tajikistan. All conditions are created in the country for the fruitful implementation of the state policy for work with youth and expanding international cooperation,” added Abdullozoda.
“The youth of Tajikistan is actively participating in various events at the bilateral and multilateral levels of Russia and Tajikistan,” noted Bagaev while speaking about the implementation of a number of projects and joint activities.
An agreement on cooperation between the Youth Union of Tajikistan and the Russian Youth Union was signed during the forum.
