Tajikistan and Qatar Launch Four Projects Focusing on Disaster Prevention
DUSHANBE, 03.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CESCD) of Tajikistan and the Committee for the Regulation of Charitable Aid of Qatar have launched four joint projects.
The projects are aimed at improving the professional level of rescuers, as well as the technical capacity and organization of shore protection works. The projects extend to creating the mini-television station of the CESCD, purchasing technical equipment for the Republican Chemical Radiometric Laboratory, fuel and lubricants, containers for their storage, as well as equipment, reported the Press Centre of the CESCD.
The implementation of the projects is the result of the visit of the delegation of the Qatari Committee for the Regulation of the Charitable Aid to Tajikistan’s CESCD on July 2018.
