Tajikistan, China discuss boosting scientific research cooperation
DUSHANBE, 28.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On the sidelines of the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held talks with the President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) Xie Fuzhan at the CASS headquarters.
The head of state noted that Tajikistan pays special attention deepening cooperation with China in various fields, including in science and education.
The potential of the meeting to strengthen the Tajik-Chinese research cooperation, and the organization of scientific-theoretical conferences and studies focusing on the Tajik – Chinese history and culture were likewise noted.
President Rahmon voiced his satisfaction with the presentation of the book of “The Tajiks in the Mirror of History” in CASS, which was translated into Chinese.
Following the meeting the two sides expressed their confidence that cooperation between Tajikistan and China will continue to develop consistently in all areas and in the interests of both nations.
