DUSHANBE, 28.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon accompanied by the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali visited the newly renovated State Border Management Center of the Main Border Guards Directorate of the State Committee for National Security.  The Centre provided with latest generations of equipment.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon inspected the center, which includes operational control points, a command post, communications center and other auxiliary facilities.  The border protection system has state-of-the-art long-range day cameras with night surveillance capabilities and connects the security forces through a separate radio and telephone network. There is also an electronic documentation system which functions through shortwave radio transmitters and border guard outposts have the ability to control border orders using an electronic map.

President Emomali Rahmon was familiarized with the activities of the command post and the reports of the heads and representatives of the Border Guards from other cities and regions of the country.

President Emomali Rahmon called on the servicemen to be vigilant, brave and resolute in order to protect the state border and perform official duties.
