Repatriated Tajik Children Are Under Medical Supervision
DUSHANBE, 02.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The eighty-four children who were repatriated from Iraq to Tajikista, underwent a medical examination, reports the Press Center of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan.
The Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Jamshed Shodikhon, Director of the State Agency for Social Protection of the Population Abdulhakim Kholzoda, Director of the Republican Center for the Protection of the Population from Tuberculosis Asliddin Rajabzoda and other officials attended the diagnostic procedures.
The children underwent fluorography, tested for HIV, hepatitis B and C, as well as other tests for psychotropic substances.
The children will be vaccinated following a full medical examination.
All the necessary conditions for diagnosis and treatment are provided for repatriated children.
With the support of Tajikistan’s government and in cooperation with the Iraqi and Kuwaiti foreign ministries and Tajik and Iraqi intelligence agencies, UNISEF and other international organizations, the children were repatriated on April 30 by a special flight from Baghdad to Dushanbe.
