Tajik Juniors Win Four Medals in Tashkent
DUSHANBE, 10.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik juniors won 4 medals, including two gold ones, in the 7th International Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournament in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
A team of Tajik athletes consisted of 9 people who won two gold, one silver and one bronze, reported the Press Center of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.
Both Anvar Juraev and Shahboz Davlatov won gold medals. Muhammad Turaev took second place with a silver medal and Muhammad Yahyoyev was awarded a bronze medal.
Over 400 junior athletes from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the tournament. They competed in 12 weight categories.
