President Emomali Rahmon and President Putin Discuss CICA Summit in a Phone Conversation
DUSHANBE, 17.06.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
During the talk, the leaders exchanged views on the results of the fifth CICA Summit, which took place on June 15 this year in Dushanbe.
Vladimir Putin, expressing gratitude to the Tajik side for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to the Russian delegation in Tajikistan’s capital and praised the high level of organization of the Summit.
The counterparts also discussed certain aspects of the Tajik-Russian strategic partnership, as well as issues relating to the international and regional agenda.
