Tajikistan and Switzerland Discuss Current State of Bilateral Cooperation
DUSHANBE, 18.06.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, in Dushanbe, the delegations of the Friendship and Parliamentary Cooperation Group of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan and the National Council of the Swiss Confederation discussed the current state and prospects of the bilateral cooperation between the two states.
The Deputy Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Public Associations and Information of the Assembly of Representatives Jamshed Saidzoda, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Tajikistan Urs Schmid and the Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan Walburg Ros expressed their readiness to work on strengthening and developing relations, reported the Press Center of the Assembly of Representatives.
The parties noted that the heads of the two states have made significant contribution to strengthening and expanding bilateral relations.
The meeting also focused on cooperation in such areas as economics, education, culture, transportation, energy, agriculture and health.
