Dushanbe and Seoul Will Soon Become Sister Cities
DUSHANBE, 17.07.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Dushanbe and Seoul will be signing an agreement to become sister cities. The decision was made during the meeting between the Dushanbe Chairman Rustam Emomali with the visiting South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon.
According to the Chairman’s Office, the meeting took place this Wednesday.
The officials discussed ways to boost cooperation between the capital cities of the two countries and expressed interest in launching joint ventures in raw materials processing, modern technologies, light industry, and other fields.
For the purpose of expanding fruitful cooperation, the two sides agreed to establish sister city relations between Dushanbe and Seoul.
