DUSHANBE, 02.03.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – This morning, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali arrived at polling station No. 15, electoral district No. 2 of the Ismoil Somoni district of Dushanbe to participate in the elections of the new convocation of deputies of the Assembly of Representatives and local Assemblies of People’s Deputies. Rustam Emomali took an active part in the elections and voted for worthy candidates.

According to the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Republic of Tajikistan, 41 single-mandate constituencies and 3,513 polling stations have been created to organize and conduct parliamentary elections.

More than 229 international observers from various international organizations are monitoring the elections. In addition, more than 203 representatives of local and foreign media are covering the elections.

Polling stations located in Tajikistan will be closed on March 2 at 20:00 local time.

Preliminary results will be announced within 24 hours after the end of voting, and the final results — no later than two weeks after the end of the elections.
