DUSHANBE, 17.07.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On July 17, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.4397 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.5942 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1502 TJS.

Also on July 17, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.4396 to 9.4400 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.6196 to 10.6700 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1445 to 0.1525 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
