People’s Poet Gulnazar Keldi Represents Tajikistan at the First Forum of Asian Countries’ Writers
DUSHANBE, 04.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The First Forum of Asian Countries’ Writers kicked off in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan this morning. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is expected to attend forum.
The mission of the forum is to strengthen and further develop literary and cultural ties between the Asian countries as well as to demonstrate the modern image of sovereign Kazakhstan and its spiritual values.
Attending the event are 80 delegates from 38 countries, including Nobel Prize nominees.
Chairman of the Iranian Writers Association Hadi Saeedi Kiesari, People’s poet of Tajikistan, author of the National Anthem of Tajikistan Gulnazar Keldi, ASEAN Literary Award holder Muhammad Haji Salleh from Malaysia, Indian writer, laureate of the South Asian International Award Amar Mitra, Japanese documentary writer Takashi Hayasaki, nominee for the Nobel Prize Mend-Ooyo of Mongolia and other famous writers gathered in Nur-Sultan to attend the forum.

The People’s poet of Tajikistan, the author of the National Anthem of Tajikistan, Gulnazar Keldi, will take part and deliver speech at this forum.
The first day of te forum will include two panel sessions within the framework of which the participants will focus on the problems and ways of development of Asian literature.
The forum will end on September 6.
It is organized with the support of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Kazakhstan Writers’ Union.
