Qatar to Allocate Scholarships for Tajik Students to Study in Its State Higher Educational Institutions
DUSHANBE, 19.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Qatar Khisrav Sohibzoda met with the Qatari Minister of Education and Higher Education Mohammed al-Hamadi on Tuesday in Doha.
The meeting focused on the state and prospects of the development of humanitarian ties between Tajikistan and Qatar and ways of practical implementation of the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of education, higher education and scientific research, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In this context, the parties noted the need to expand inter-university cooperation, enhance student exchanges and internships, as well as organize mutual visits of the academic circles of the two countries.
Minister al-Hamadi expressed his readiness to allocate scholarships for Tajik students to study in Qatari state higher educational institutions.
