Tajik FM Muhriddin Addresses the OIC Annual Ministerial Meeting in New York
DUSHANBE, 30.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 27 on the sidelines of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated in and addressed the Annual Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
In his statement, Muhriddin noted that Tajikistan remains a strong proponent of strengthening the role of the OIC in resolving the pressing issues of the Islamic world, and enhancement of coordination in addressing current challenges.
“Tajikistan consistently supports international and regional initiatives, including within the framework of the OIC, and takes effective measures in fighting against terrorism and extremism,” said Muhriddin.
