Tajik Foreign Minister Attends the Meeting of Group 77 and China FMs
DUSHANBE, 28.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday at the UN Headquarters in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated in the annual Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Group 77 and China.
In his speech, Muhriddin stressed the importance of implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and noted that in order to achieve the SDGs Tajikistan has adopted the National Development Strategy for the period until 2030.
Muhriddin also briefed the participants on the preparations of the upcoming International Conference on the Implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028, which will be held in 2020 in Dushanbe, and called upon the representatives of Group 77 member-states to take part in it.
