In August, three rounds of the higher league of Tajikistan, as well as the matches 1/8 and 1/4 finals of the country’s cup were played.

According to their results, the competent jury determined the 26-year-old midfielder of the Istiklol FC Alisher Jalilov, who was named as the best player of the matches three times, as the best player of the past month. The laurels of the best coach of the month went to the new head coach of the capital’s CSKA Pamir, Ukrainian specialist Sergei Zhitsky, under whose leadership the team won three consecutive times in the Tajik championship in August and climbed to fifth place in the standings.

Memorable prizes will be awarded to August winners before the start of the matches of the next round of the higher league of Tajikistan, which will take place after the September matches of the World Cup 2022 qualifying tournament.
