Kuwaiti Cultural Days Will Begin in Dushanbe Today
DUSHANBE, 15.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Kuwaiti Cultural Days will be held in Tajikistan from October 15 through October 18 in order to strengthen cultural ties between the two states.
The cultural event will include the program of Kuwaiti cultural and art figures, exhibitions of books, photographs and paintings, as well as an evening of poetry.
This morning, the Minister of Culture of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda will meet with the Kuwaiti official delegation at the National Library.
An exhibitions of Kuwaiti artists, as well as photographs about the history of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Kuwait will be held today at 16:00 in the lobby of the Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadriddin Ayni.
The opening ceremony of Cultural Days is scheduled for 17:00 in the theater hall. A documentary of Kuwaiti filmmakers and a joint concert will be screened as part of the opening ceremony.
Tomorrow at 11:00, a book exhibition of the Kuwait’s State Cultural Council will be held at the Tajik National University. An evening of poetry of Kuwaiti and Tajik poets will also take place at the same venue.
On October 17-18, the creative staff of the guests will visit the city of Norak and the Varzob district, where they will get acquainted with the nature of our country and, together with Tajik artists, will hold concert programs.
The guests are also scheduled to visit the National Museum of Tajikistan, the National Flag Park and other historical places of Dushanbe.
