DUSHANBE, 17.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited the military unit of the SNCS Border Troops and inspected renovated of headquarters building of construction detachment and Logistics Base. The President was accompanied by Dushanbe Chairman Rustami Emomali.

The President toured the two story headquarters building of construction detachment; its modern classrooms are provided with the necessary equipment and apparatus. He also looked around 240-seat spacious hall and learned about the military personel living conditions.

To boost a sense of national identity a Museum of the Leader of the Nation has been established there. Following familiarization with the condition created in the museum, President Emomali Rahmon was acquainted with the activities of the production workshops of construction detachment and had a warm conversation with the military personnel.

There are a total of workshops for the production of building materials such as wire fences — necessary for border protection as well as tin sheets for roofing, plastic and wooden windows, which are used for the construction of outposts.

While attending the unveiling ceremony of the activities of the logistics base, the head of state was familiarized with the living conditions created for officers and handed over keys to new apartments to 23 families of border troops.

This was followed by an exhibition of agricultural products of subsidiary farms of the Border Troops, which showcased various vegetables, fruits, melons, livestock and poultry.

While inspecting the three-story newly-built military unit headquarters, President Emomali Rahmon had a warm conversation with the soldiers.

The head of state was present at the opening ceremony of the 360-seat Kokhi Vafo Palace (Temple of Fidelity). The building was built in accordance of national architectural style. The facility also has a library with the necessary literature for soldiers, as well as a museum.

It should be worth noting that the military unit includes within it an Advanced Training School, which trains employees of border control posts, signalmen, dog handlers, and engineers.

President Emomali Rahmon called on the officers and soldiers to serve bravely and to fulfill the tasks assigned to them vigilantly, courageously and with honor.
