DUSHANBE, 08.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the government of Tajikistan will hold a women’s forum tomorrow in Dushanbe in order to increase the legal education of young girls and women, to develop entrepreneurial activity among women, to prevent dangerous and infectious diseases, and to promote the role and number of girls in public administration.

The forum’s motto is ‘improving the political and legal literacy of young women and girls — a factor in the development of social stability.’

The forum will be held under the patronage of the Women Political Leaders Ambassador for Tajikistan Ozoda Rahmon with the participation of a wide range of activist girls, young employees of ministries and departments, as well as authoritative women of the country.

Following the official part, the forum will continue its work in sectors that cover important issues of women’s life in the country, where women leaders and authorities will conduct seminars, trainings and master classes.

The forum will address issues relating to the role and place of women and girls at the government level, the causes and methods of preventing the involvement of women and girls in terrorist and extremist groups, the role of young girls and women entrepreneurs in the development of the country’s economy, the prevention of domestic violence, the role of women in the development of science and innovation, tourism, the revival of folk crafts, HIV / AIDS prevention among young girls and women.

The forum is organized as part of the appointment of the Chief of the Executive Office of the President of Tajikistan Ozoda Rahmon as Women Political Leaders Ambassador.

The purpose of the forum is to increase the legal literacy and awareness of women and girls about the achievements, problems and threats of the modern world.
