Head of Khovar Departs to Moscow for Council Meeting of the Heads of CIS State News Agencies
DUSHANBE, 25.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Moscow will host the 27th meeting of the Council of Heads of State News Agencies of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Kovar’s director Saidali Siddiq will attend the meeting.
The meeting will focus on the preparation for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in World War II, the experience of information retrieval work as part of preparation for this holiday, the main events of the CIS in 2019, the Commonwealth’s plans for 2020 and other topics.
The head Uzbekistan’s state news agency is taking part in this meeting for the first time.
The council is headed by TASS General Director Sergei Mikhailov.
