President Emomali Rahmon Laid a Flower at the Monument to Islam Karimov
DUSHANBE, 29.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – As a sign of respect for the history and culture of the Uzbek nation the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev laid flowers at the monument of the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
The ceremony took place on the sidelines of the 2nd Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asian Nations. The counterparts also planted a tree of friendship in the garden of the Kuksaroy Presidential Palace.
