Tajik Minister of Culture Meets With Director of Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts in Paris
DUSHANBE, 21.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Culture of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda met with the Director of the Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts Sophie Makariou in Paris.
The meeting focused on organizational issues relating to the organization of an exhibition of historical exhibits of Tajikistan at the Guimet Museum in 2020.
The two parties confirmed their interest in holding this important cultural event in Paris.
The meeting also focused on other topics of mutual interest, including the possibilities of cooperation between Tajik museums and the Guimet Museum.
The officials of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture of France, and the Embassy of Tajikistan in France also attended the meeting.
