IAEA Air Quality Monitoring Conference Begins With the Participation of Dr. Abdullaev
DUSHANBE, 25.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The IAEA Air Quality Monitoring Conference with the participation of 16 European countries, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan will commence today in Lisbon, Portugal, reported the S. Umarov Physical-Technical Institute of the Tajik Academy of Sciences.
The head of the Laboratory of Atmospheric Physics of the S. Umarov Physical-Technical Institute, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Sabur Abdullaev will represent Tajikistan in this conference.
Research on modern problems of atmospheric physics has been carried out in Tajikistan since 1986. Laboratory staffs of the institute actively participate in international expeditions to study the atmosphere.
The Lisbon conference will focus on analyzing the results of monitoring particles up to 2.5 microns in the atmosphere, determining the direction of air flow and the sources of formation of such particles.
The conference will end on November 29.
