Tajikistan Ties with Kyrgyzstan at the World Cup 2022 Qualifier
DUSHANBE, 20.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The national football team of Tajikistan could not defeat Kyrgyzstan at the World Cup 2022 qualifying match.
The match which was held at the Dolen Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek ended in a draw with the score of 1-1, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
The only goal for the Tajik team was scored at the 17th minute by Jahongir Ergashev.
In another match, the Myanmar beat Mongolia with the score of 1-0.
As of now, following six rounds, Japan with 12 points leads group F. Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan with 7 points each are on the second and third lines respectively. Myanmar with 6 points is in fourth place and Mongolia with 3 points is last in the group.
In their next match at the World Cup 2022 qualifying tournament the Tajik team will go against Mongolia on March 26 at the Central Republican Stadium in Dushanbe.
