President Emomali Rahmon Had Talks With Emmanuel Macron and António Guterres
DUSHANBE, 12.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, on the margins of participation in the Paris Peace Forum events, had conversations with the UN Secretary-General António Guterres and President of France Emmanuel Macron.
During a free conversation an exchange of views took place on the bilateral ties with the United Nations and the French Republic as well as on a wide range of topical issues of global agenda of the Forum.
Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres commended the role of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in promoting the United Nations social and economic agenda. In his turn, President of France Emmanuel Macron evaluated the results of official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to France and a series of talks as fruitful and important.
Other issues of mutual interest were also touched upon during the conversations.
