DUSHANBE, 09.12.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Chairman of the Council of the People’s Deputies of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali chaired its twenty-first extraordinary sessions today.

The agenda focused on determining the constituencies for the election of the Council of the People’s Deputies and establishing a city commission for the election of the deputies.

The session concluded with the decision to open 70 polling stations for the upcoming election. The deputies also agreed to create a city commission consisting of nine people for the election.

Chairman Rustam Emomali emphasized the necessity of observing the fundamental principles of the election and ensuring the rule of law and security of citizens during the period of election.
