DUSHANBE, 19.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On March 20, Dushanbe will host the International Festival entitled Navruz — Cultural and Tourist Heritage.

The festival consists of two parts — the first part will be held in the National Library of Tajikistan, and the second part, with a demonstration of folk crafts, Navruz rituals, national sports games, cooking Navruz dishes and national clothing will be held in the Iram Park of the capital.

The festival is being held for the sixth year with the support of the government on the occasion of the International Navruz holiday. Its goal is to present guests with tourism opportunities and the national culture of the Tajiks.

The Navruz holiday with its unique identity is considered one of the important examples of tourism in Tajikistan in order to attract the attention of the world community to the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik nation.

The festival guests will be presented with a cultural program with the participation of artists from the country.
