Istiklol FC Fell Short of Reaching the AFC Champions League 2020 Group Stage
DUSHANBE, 29.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The AFC Champions League 2020 playoff match between Istiklol FC and Al Ahly was held yesterday in Jeddah. The match ended with the score of 0-1 in favor of Al Ahly, which reached the tournament’s group stage.
While the team cannot now proceed further in the AFC Champions League 2020, it will continue to compete in the AFC Cup 2020, where it will play in Group D against the Turkmen Altyn Asyr and Kyrgyz Dordoy.
Another rival of Istiklol will be determined by playoffs results.
