President Emomali Rahmon Opens New Facilities in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 15.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the opening of the second line of the water purification station and water supply Obu Korezi Dushanbe in metropolitan area of Ismoili Somoni and visited metropolitan area of Shohmansur, where he officially launched the activities of the new hosiery factory and inspected new-building of the secondary educational institution No: 65. He was accompanied by the Dushanbe Chairman Rustam Emomali.
Obu Korezi Dushanbe is equipped with German and Chinese technologies and construction and installation works were carried out by the specialists of joint German-Italian companies Ludwig Pfeiffer — Emit together with local specialists.
The hosiery factory called Vahdat was built by the local entrepreneur Ilhom Mirzoyev. The factory aims to process local raw materials, strengthen the country’s export potential and contribute to the implementation of the fourth strategic goal — rapid industrialization of the country.
The factory with an annual capacity of 19.2 million pairs of socks meets the requirements of the domestic and foreign market and its second line is expected to be introduced into operation next year.
Chinese and Italian equipment has been installed at the enterprise and it plans to export its products to Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
A four-story building of the secondary educational institution No: 65 that accommodates 2,000 students in two shifts was built in accordance of national and international architectural style by Yoqut-2000. Following the tour of the school, Emomali Rahmon has met with its teaching staff and the students.
