Tajik Artifacts Will Be Displayed in Guimet Museum on October 14
DUSHANBE, 24.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Tajik Minister of Culture Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda met with the French Ambassador to Tajikistan Yasmine Gouedard.
The meeting focused on the preparations for the upcoming exhibition of historical Tajik artifacts at the Guimet Museum in Paris.
The parties noted the necessity of holding joint meetings of the working group once a month in order to improve the quality of the exhibition the opening of which is scheduled for October 14.
They also discussed the issues relating to announcing a tender for selecting an airline to transport the items, the safety and storage of historical exhibits, publishing the exhibition catalog, organizing a cultural program, and showing Tajik films or videos about the historical sites and tourist routes of Tajikistan.
