Tajikistan and UN FAO Discuss Joint Measures to Ensure Food Security
DUSHANBE, 30.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseynzoda met with the Deputy Director General of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization Qu Dongyu in Rome.
The meeting focused on the adoption of joint measures to ensure food security, the introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture, the elimination of the effects of climate change, as well as the preparations for the second conference on the implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028,” which is scheduled for June 2020 in Dushanbe.
