Tajikistan Will Open 39 Polling Stations Abroad
DUSHANBE, 16.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The topic of the Central Election Commission of Tajikistan’s discussion centered around the establishment of polling stations abroad for the upcoming election of deputies of the Assembly of Representatives. The Chairman of the Central Election Commission Khudoyorzoda led the meeting.
Thirty-nine polling stations will be set up in the embassies and consulates of Tajikistan.
Other items on the agenda were the establishment of the working group of the commission on admission and maintenance of the work of international observers for the preparations and organization of the election.
In order to ensure transparency in the upcoming election, the commission has sent invitations to a number of international organizations.
