EU Delegation Head Wants Tajik Decorative Art and Folk Crafts Presented in Europe
DUSHANBE, 26.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Decorative arts and folk crafts of Tajiks should be presented to the European people. This statement was made yesterday by the EU Delegation head to Tajikistan Marilyn Josefson at the meeting with the Tajik Minister of Culture Zulfiya Davlatzoda.
The meeting focused on the prospects for cooperation and further plans for relations, reports the Tajik Ministry of Culture.
Davlatzoda also informed Josefson about the activities in the cultural sphere and its main directions in Tajikistan.
“Tajik artists are very talented and can effectively represent Tajik art on the European continent,” Josefson said.
“EU Delegation to Tajikistan has been working closely with the Ministry of Culture for a long time and intends to strengthen it further,” Josefson noted.
The parties agreed to pay more attention to prospects for activities, further plans and implementation of cultural programs.
