Tajik Ambassador to Japan Visits Kawasaki City
DUSHANBE, 27.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On February 26, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Japan Mirzosharif Jalolov visited Kawasaki and met with its Mayor Fukuda Norihiko.
The parties exchanged views on existing economic and trade opportunities and expressed their interest in enhancing and strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas, reports the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Also, Jalolov met with the Vice-Chairman of the Kawasaki Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shinichi Nakayama.
The meeting focused on establishing cooperation in the areas of investment, trade, industry and energy.
Jalolov informed the Japanese side about the economic and social achievements of Tajikistan, including the process of implementing the country’s fourth national development strategy — accelerated industrialization, and invited Japanese investors and entrepreneurs, along with other foreign investors, to contribute to this process.
