Tajik Minister of Culture Davlatzoda Meets with French Ambassador Gouedard
DUSHANBE, 14.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On Wednesday, the Tajik Minister of Culture Zulfiya Davlatzoda met with the French Ambassador to Tajikistan Yasmine Gouedard.
The meeting focused on the development of bilateral cultural relations and the prospects for further cooperation in the field of art and culture, reports the Tajik Ministry of Culture.
“The cultural ties of our countries are the basis for cooperation in other areas. Thus, effective cooperation has currently been established in the field of Shashmakom art, fine art and cinema,” Gouedard noted.
Davlatzoda spoke about the open door policy of Tajikistan, which allowed the establishment of relations of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation with all countries.
The parties focused on the progress of preparatory work for the exhibition of historical Tajik artifacts at the Guimet Museum in Paris, which is scheduled to open this October.
