Tajik Boxer Usmonov Will Go to the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020
DUSHANBE, 11.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Boxer Bahodur Usmonov won a first berth among Tajik athletes for the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020, reports the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.
Today, Usmonov defeated Iranian boxer Ashkon Rizoi in the boxing off round of the qualifying Olympic boxing competitions in the Asia-Pacific region in Amman and won a berth to Olympic Games 2020.
In weight up to 63 kg, along with Usmonov, Obad Alkasba (Jordan), Zakir Safiulin (Kazakhstan), Baatarsukhiin Chinzorig (Mongolia), Elnur Abduraimov (Uzbekistan) and Manish Kaushik (India) will also go to the Summer Olympic Games, which will be held from July 24 through August 9 in Tokyo, Japan.
