KHUJAND, 27.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – For several days now, Khujand has been strengthening  measures to disinfect public places in order to prevent infectious diseases and ensure the safety of citizens.

Over the past few days, decontamination and disinfection works have been carried out in places with the  largest concentration of people, including at bus stops, main streets and recreational centers, reports Khujand’s adminsitration.

For more than a month now, decontamination works are being carried out before and after work, and at night.

Khujand officials are informing citizens of the necessity of being more responsible and in order to prevent viral diseases to pay special attention to cleanliness of residences and other buildings and strictly observing the rules of personal hygiene.

Khujand’s chairman has instructed the city authorities to monitor the movement of children and adolescents during the school break and is recommending that older people not go outside unnecessarily and if they have a fever to urgently call an ambulance.
