KHUJAND, 28.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The cities and districts of Tajikistan are taking measures to prevent and disinfect institutions and crowded places, in particular city roads and stops, streets, alleys, parks and squares, in order to prevent the spread of any infectious diseases. The preventive work is being carried out in the Sughd Province at large.

In Konibodom, where for several days now in order to prevent the emergence of coronavirus infection, measures to disinfect streets, crowded places, parks and public stops have been strengthened, said the city’s administration.

Disinfection works are carried out by employees of a special quarantine department. The measures are taken as ordered by the Republican Commission on Coronavirus Prevention. The informational work is also carried out among the population.

The city’s administration is asking its residents to observe hygiene rules, not to visit crowded places, eat right and follow the instructions set by the country’s leadership.
