Food Delivery to Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region Continues Without Interruption
DUSHANBE, 06.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Food delivery continues to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO). Over 115 tons of flour has been delivered yesterday to the province, with stockpiles in the warehouses of entrepreneurs. This information was provided by the province’s Chairman Yodgor Fayzov at the meeting of the provincial commission for the prevention of the coronavirus.
“The Agency for State Material Resources under the government of Tajikistan, as well as patriotic entrepreneurs, deliver lots of food to GBAO every day to be sold in markets and shopping centers,” noted Fayzov.
“Regional residents should follow the rules of hygiene, refrain from forming crowds and unnecessarily going to crowded places, as well as take care of their health,” said Fayzov.
“Ensuring food security is under the constant attention of President Emomali Rahmon, and there will be no problem in providing basic necessities,” added the GBAO chairman.
Fayzov noted that those who want to help, should spend money not on food but on medicine.
The meeting also focused on other important issues relating to the life of the provincial residents.
