DUSHANBE, 06.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – After consulting with FIFA, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced the estimated dates for the remaining matches of the second round of the 2022 World Cup qualifier, which were originally scheduled to take place in March and June.
The Tajik team, which plays in the group F, is to hold a home match on October 8 against Mongolia. They will play two more matches in 2022 World Cup qualifier in November — against Japan (on November 12, away) and Myanmar (November 17, at home).
AFC will continue to closely monitor the situation to ensure the safety and well-being of all teams, officials, fans and interested parties, as well as government travel restrictions and medical restrictions, and will notify all parties if there is a need to review the match schedule in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
