DUSHANBE, 17.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On June 17, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 10.3000 TJS,

1 Euro – 11.6011 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1460 TJS.

Also on June 17, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 10.3000 TJS to 10.3075 TJS

1 Euro – from 11.6011 to 11.8000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1460 TJS to 0.1475 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face4 punitive damages and criminal charges.
