Deputy PM Ismatullozoda Visited a Boarding House for the Elderly and Disabled in Tursunzoda

DUSHANBE, 29.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The working group led by the Deputy Prime Minister Shirin Ismatullozoda visited the boarding house for the elderly and disabled in Tursunzoda.
Ismatullozoda was informed that the main activity of the boarding house is material and household support, care for the ill, medical assistance, rehabilitation, organization of cultural and domestic work, development and implementation of the action plan for social rehabilitation elderly and disabled.
The institution is designed for 230 people, where currently 191 people are covered by medical and social services, of which 97 are men and 94 are women.
The subsidiary lands at the boarding house are effectively used and the necessary products are sufficiently reserved in the institution.
While meeting with the elderly and disabled, Ismatullozoda recalled President Emomali Rahmon and the government’s attention and care in their regard and expressed her opinion on further government measures in the field of social support for the elderly and the disabled.
The residents of the boarding house, in turn, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the state and the government.
The working group also included the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Zulfiya Abdusamadzoda and the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Latofat Naziri.
