Dushanbe People’s Deputies Will Meet for Second Session in Mid July
DUSHANBE, 03.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The second session of the People’s Deputies Assembly of Dushanbe will take place on July 15 at 9:00 in the Center for Strategic Studies.
The session will focus on issues relating to the changing the boundaries of the Shohmansur, Firdavsi, Sino and Ismoili Somoni districts, the development of the energy sector, especially the transition to a modern billing service system, ensuring reliable power supply, reconstruction and restoration of power plants and a network section, early termination of powers of deputies and the appointment of elections from constituencies 23 and 42, the creation of the City Commission for the Elections of the People’s Deputies Assembly, the results of capital’s socio-economic development and tasks for the second half of 2020.
A working group will be created to prepare the agenda issues for the session. The deputies will be able to hold meetings with voters until July 13 and based on their results, will present concrete proposals to the working group on improving the agenda issues.
